The Woman in Me made it to the Grammy Awards and won as the "Best Country Album of 1996".
Eight (8) of the 12 songs on this album, The Woman In Me, were later released as singles: "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?", "Any Man of Mine", "The Woman in Me (Needs the Man in You)", "(If You're Not in It for Love) I'm Outta Here!", "You Win My Love", "No One Needs to Know", "Home Ain't Where His Heart is (Anymore)", "God Bless the Child".
There are 12 tracks on this album, and all tracks were jointly composed by Shania Twain and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, except "You Win My Love" (which was composed by Robert John "Mutt" Lange alone) and "Leaving Is the Only Way Out" (which was composed by Shania Twain alone).
